A Study of Argot of Historical Notes in the Ming Dynasty

明代史料笔记数量多,词语丰富,是近代汉语词语研究的重要语料。作为一种社会方言,隐语是词语研究必不可少的组成部分。在梳理明代史料笔记隐语资料的基础上,分析隐语的类型,归纳其特点,揭示其成因,指出其产生方式与发展状况,初步勾勒出明代史料笔记中隐语基本面貌,希望为汉语隐语研究、近代汉语词汇研究提供一定资料,为相关辞书的编写提供一些补充。

There are many historical notes and abundant words in the Ming Dynasty, which are an important corpus for research on modern Chinese words. As a social dialect, argot is an indispensable part of the study of words. On the basis of sorting out the materials on argot in the Ming Dynasty’s historical notes and summarizing their existing state, this paper analyzes the types of the argot, reveals its causes, summarizes its characteristics and outlines the features of the argot in the Ming Dynasty’s historical notes in the hope of providing not only some information for the study of argot and modern Chinese but also some supplements for the compilation of relevant dictionaries.
