On the Cultural Role of Media in Cultural Inheritance

文脉是"一种文化的脉络",是一个国家、一个地域历史上遗留下来的文化精髓。媒体是传播信息的媒介,作为信息公众平台的媒体应当发挥传播优势和力量,努力坚守中华民族的文化立场,引领文化思潮,展示传统文化,寄托文化情怀;同时,要在关注、造势、参与文脉传承时,彰显媒体力量,肩负起文脉传承的时代使命与文化担当。媒体介入文脉传承的路径主要有:树立新理念,梳理"群众欲知应知而未知"的文化脉络;搭建平台,集众人之智,助力文脉传承;聚焦民生文化,为文脉传承搜补民间记忆;记录历史,留存档案,参与文脉传承;拓展新媒体,提高文脉传承的深广度。

Context is “the context of a culture”, which is the essence of culture passed down by a country and a region from history. The media is the medium of communication. As an information public platform, the media should give full play to the advantages and strengths, adhere to the cultural position of the Chinese nation, take the lead in the cultural trend of thought and display the traditional culture, retain cultural feelings, promote and participate in context inheritance, thus highlighting the media power and shouldering the historical mission and cultural responsibility of cultural heritage. There are such main paths for media to intervene in the context as putting forward new ideas and combing the cultural context of “what people want to know, should know and not know”, building a platform to gather the wisdom of all people to help the transmission of the context, focusing on people’s livelihood culture to search for and make up for folk memories for the inheritance of the context, recording history, retaining archives, participating in context inheritance, and developing new media to enhance the depth and breadth of context inheritance.
