摘要
全球化时代,外语教育得到许多国家的高度重视,外语教育成为培养学生国际素养、增加国际竞争力的重要途径。世界主要国家基础教育阶段外语教育发展的现状及趋势为:英语是世界上学习人数最多的语言;重视外语教育成为各国教育改革的普遍趋势;制定教学标准和师资建设标准、重视能力培养、注重教学衔接等,逐渐成为发达国家基础教育外语教学的突出特征。对我国外语教育的建议是:一是战略上高度重视,将外语教育与国家人才战略紧密结合;二是充实、完善基础教育阶段外语课程;三是把握好语言习得关键期,告别"聋哑外语",开展以能力为导向的教学;四是建立健全相应标准,促进外语教育科学化;五是做好师资保障;六是抓住教育信息化发展机遇,大力促进外语教育。
In the era of globalization, foreign language education has been highly valued by many countries. Foreign language education has become an important way to cultivate students' international literacy and increase their international competitiveness. The trends of foreign language education in the basic education stage of major countries could be summarized as following: English is the most widely spoken language in the world; reinforcement in foreign language teaching has become common trend in education reform in various countries; formulating teaching standards and teachers' training standards, developing students' linguistic competence, focusing on teaching convergence, etc., have gradually become the prominent features of foreign language teaching of basic education in developed countries. Based on the above, the following suggestions are made: First, we should attach great importance to the integration of foreign language education and national talent strategy. Second, we should enrich and improve foreign language courses in the basic education stage. Third, we should grasp the key period of language acquisition of children, put an end to"deaf-mute foreign language", and carry out ability-oriented teaching. The fourth is to establish and improve corresponding standards and promote the scientificization of foreign language education. The fifth is to improve teachers' training. The sixth is to take advantage of educational informationization and promote foreign language education.
