Xing Fuyi＇s grammatical research is a typical example of the research in Chinese.This paper is based on his Chinese Grammar,discussing the ways of factual explication and theoretical presentation,in terms of the eight aspects,attaching importance to facts and gathering evidence,respecting facts and seeking truth from facts,having keen eyes and novel perspectives,observing carefully,using facts to prove the truth,enhancing the theory,summarizing ideas,exemplification,and simplistic,credible and usable writing.
