Editor＇s note： 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China＇s Reform and Opening-up policy, and also the 5th anniversary of President Xi Jinping＇s proposal about the Belt and Road Initiative. Over the past five years, under the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism focused on China＇s diplomacy, gave full play to culture and tourism in promoting mutual cultural learning and people-to-people ties, and actively launched the Belt and Road international communication and cooperation, aiming to develop a community with shared interests, future and responsibility for mankind. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has made remarkable progress in related work.
