The Bonding of Revolutionary Faith with the Power of Workers,Peasants and Soldiers——A Preliminary Discussion on the Red Sports Campaign in the Central Soviet Area

在面临国民党反动派不断军事"围剿"的情况下,中国共产党不仅领导了中央苏区的各项建设,而且在条件十分简陋的情况下开展起红色体育运动。在中央苏区,从中央到地方,从城镇到乡村,普遍建立了红色体育组织。这些红色体育组织积极举办各项体育活动,积累了党在中央苏区组织开展体育运动的初步经验。中央苏区的红色体育运动,是工农兵大众普遍参与的运动,是他们锻炼身体,增强体质,以便同国民党反动派斗争保卫苏维埃政权的运动,是革命信念与工农兵大众力量的结合。

Faced by the endless military encirclement launched by the Kuomintang reactionaries, the CPC not on-ly lead the construction programs in the Central Soviet Area, but also launched the red sports campaign underdifficult conditions. In the Central Soviet Area, red sports organizations were established everywhere from thecentral to the local, from the urban areas to the countryside. These red sports organizations actively held sportsactivities, and accumulated the Party＇ s primary experiences in organizing sports in the Central Soviet Area. Thered sports campaign in the Central Soviet Area was a campaign that the workers, peasants and soldiers participa-ted in universally and by which they built up their bodies and invigorated their health for fighting the Kuomin-tang reactionaries and protecting the soviet regime. It embodied the bonding of the revolutionary faith with thepower of workers, peasants and soldiers.
