医学遗传学是遗传学原理在医学中的应用,由遗传病这一纽带把遗传学和医学知识紧密融合在一起。随着现代生物医学知识的不断发展,医学遗传学领域也出现了很多新的技术、新的理论和新的研究方法,并且被广泛应用到各个学科。但是由于医学遗传学属于医学基础课程,一般安排在医科院校的低年级学生中教学,与临床实践相脱离。为了能更好地将理论联系实际,激发学生学习兴趣,将相关的临床案例应用在医学遗传学教学中,会取得很好的教学效果。

Medical genetics is a close link between basic medicine and clinical medicine. It is the application of genetic principles in medicine. With the continuous development of modem biomedical knowledge, a lot of new theories, technology and research methods appear in the field of medical genetics and has been applied to many fields, while the course usually opens for freshmen or sophomores, separated from practice. In order to better integrate theory with practice and stimulate students＇ interest in independent learning, the application of relevant clinical cases in medical genetics teaching will achieve good teaching results.
