古译版歌词中的功能对等——以《I see fire》为例 被引量:3

摘要 电影的主题曲作为该电影的核心情感的升华,凝练了一部电影的主题思想。好的主题曲歌词翻译更是整部电影的画龙点睛之笔。近年来,英文电影主题曲的古译版层出不穷,因其独特的语言表达和节奏韵律,创造性地融汇古今,使其成为当下翻译研究的一个热点。奈达的功能对等理论,强调了语言意义对等的重要性,这其中不仅包含词汇对等,还囊括了风格、意境、情感等方面的对等,恰好契合了歌词古译版特点。本文基于奈达的功能对等理论,以电影《霍比特人:史矛革之战》的主题曲《I see fire》的古译版歌词为例,从歌词的意境对等和词汇对等两大角度来探讨古译版歌词翻译的可行性和创造性。 As a sublimation of the core spirit in a movie, the theme song reflects the essence. A good translation of the theme song brings about the crucial point to the movie. Recently, classical Chinese translation versions of English theme songs have emerged in an endless stream. They have become a hot spot in the translation study because of its expressions and rhythms, which integrate ancient culture with modern trends. The functional equivalence theory proposed by Eugene A. Nida places emphasis on the importance of language equivalence which includes not only lexical equivalence, but also style equivalence, artistic conception equivalence, emotional equivalence and so on. Based on the functional equivalence theory , the thesis analyses the lyric of the song I see fire from the movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and explores the feasibility and the creativity in translating English theme songs into classical Chinese from artistic conception equivalence and lexical equivalence.
