纵横之学的发展过程备受诟病,直至《汉书·艺文志》问世之后,方被列入"九流十家",视为思想学术流派。其理论深受先秦纵横家重"术"轻"道",两汉时期重"道"轻"术"之风气及学术总结者观念的影响。

Political strategists＇ learning was criticized in its development. The theory was deeply influenced by the pre-Qin scholars＇ emphasis on ＂skill＂ and despise of ＂Dao＂, emphasis on ＂Dao＂ and despise of ＂skill＂ during the two Han dynasties, and academic compilers＇ idea.
