我国休闲体育思想研究的实质是本土生活智慧的历史寻根与当代追问。从中国式休闲思想的寻根、本土化休闲体育思想的追问、当代休闲体育思想话语体系构建的审视三个方面探讨我国休闲体育思想研究的价值底蕴与观照意义。运用由思想到休闲思想、由体育思想到休闲体育思想的生成逻辑对休闲体育思想这一核心概念进行定义。对国内外休闲体育思想的研究现状进行了学术梳理,集中表现为国内研究尚处于起步阶段,系统性和专题性的研究成果明显不足,在研究深度和广度上有待加强。最后,从研究线索、研究方法和理论基础三个方面对我国休闲体育思想研究现状进行反思。
