摘要
澳大利亚作家凯瑟琳·苏珊娜·普里查德的经典小说《库娜尔都》主要描述了澳洲早期殖民时期人与自然的关系、白人殖民者与土著居民的矛盾以及跨越种族的爱情冲突。以女主人公库娜尔都的"他者"身份为切入点,对其与小说主要人物关系进行解读,进一步探索作品中人类中心主义、白人帝国心态以及种族主义、父权制在环境和性别上给人们造成的创伤在今天所具有的普世意义。
Coonardoo, Australian renowned female writer Katharine Susannah Prichard's masterpiece, mainly depicts a vivid rural picture of Western Australia concerning from the relationship between human beings and nature to the unspeaka ble love between the white station owner Hugh and the aborigine girl Coonardoo, from the thriving and the decline of Wytal iba station to the white's racial discrimination towards the native aborigines. This paper bases its research on close reading of the text and the conception of otherness under the theory of ccofcminism to explore the decp meaning of the work in modern times through the aborigines' hurt caused by anthropoccntrism, the white's imperialism, racism and patriarchy.
