人的发展问题历来是西方哲学研究的一个主导性问题。步入现当代以来,学者们纷纷收缩自己的研究范围并将目光专注于此。但因其缺乏辩证法与实践观的内在指引,只能成就一种极其狭隘的人的发展观。他们只考虑到物质文明进步对人的发展的积极影响,而没有同时看到时代的物化对人的消极影响;现代科技与资本逻辑的联手,确能给人提供一种过上幸福生活的物质保障,却无法逃避使人陷入异化的尴尬境遇。可见,西方的人的发展观,都在不同程度上遮蔽了人的本体地位与终极意义。

However, because of its lack of dialectics and the internal guidance of practice view, it can only achieve a very narrow minded person＇s development view. They only take into account the positive influence of the progress of material civilization on human development, and do not see the negative influence of the materialization of The Times on people at the same time. The combination of modern science and technology and capital logic can providea material guarantee for a happy life, but it can＇t escape the embarrassing situation of alienation. It can be seen that the concept of development of western people obscures the ontological status and ultimate significance of people to varying degrees.
