不变与危变:个体生活史视域下的同治朝——以《翁曾翰日记》为中心

Invariance and Crisis: Tongzhi Period from the Perspective of Individual Life History——A Study on Weng Zenghan Diary

晚清内阁侍读翁曾翰的日记记录了他本人及其家庭日常生活,反映出同治朝的清廷高层与京城士人蹈循礼俗、醉心科举、热衷宴饮、抵触西方的生活图景与思想状态。尽管同治朝在经历太平天国运动、西北回变及捻军运动等民变后,也已开启以洋务运动为标志的近代化事业,但日常生活、吏治状态、思想观念,尤其是对西方的认知并未发生实质变化,从个体生命与生活史角度烛照出"同治中兴"背后潜伏的危险变局。

The article examines the personal and family daily life of Weng Zenghan who was a mid-level official in the Tongzhi Period, reflecting that ancient scholars and high-level officials in the Tongzhi Period still advocated etiquette, had passion for the Imperial Examination and banquet, and resisted the West. Although after experiencing Taiping rebellion, the Moslem Rebellion in Northwest China and the Nian Army＇s Movement officials in the Tongzhi Period, Westernization Movement was initiated, the ordinary officials＇ daily life and thoughts had not changed substantively, especially their cognition of the West. From the perspective of individual life and life history, this displayed many potential dangerous decay behind ＂Tongzhi Resurgence＂.
