Determination of the Dangerous Areas in Dawukou District for Mountain Flood Disaster

大武口区是宁夏2014年度山洪灾害调查评价县之一,通过进行小流域暴雨洪水分析,定性分析确定受山洪威胁的居民区,评价沿河村落山洪灾害现状防御能力,科学划定危险区,为进一步提高大武口区山洪灾害防治能力,科学设定预警范围,制定防御预案提供基础支撑。

Dawukou District is one of the investigation and evaluation target counties for mountain flood disaster in Ningxia Autonomous Region. With the analysis of the storm-induced flood for small watersheds, residential areas threatened by the flood are qualitatively determined. Then, the current flood control capacities of the riverside villages are evaluated and the dangerous areas are determined. The results could provide solid support for the formulation of flood control plans, determination of the early-warning range, and the improvement of flood control capacities of Dawukou District.
