Analysis of the Decisive Factors for the Successful Development of the First Soviet Atomic Bomb:Basing on the Declassified Documents of Soviet Nuclear Project

长期以来,人们都将苏联第一颗原子弹成功研制的根本原因归结于苏联获取了大量的核情报。实际上,核情报的确在苏联第一颗原子弹研制过程中起了重要的催化剂作用,大大加快了原子弹研制的进程。然而,如果没有健全的组织领导体系作为基本前提,坚实的物质经济基础作为基本条件,雄厚的科学研究实力作为基本保证,崇高的爱国主义精神作为基本动力,再多的核情报也无济于事。正是上述因素的综合作用,最终确保了苏联第一颗原子弹的成功研制。

The success of the first atomic bomb of Soviet Union was usually attributed to the large amount of nuclear intelligence acquired by this country. The author argues that nuclear intelligence did play an important catalytic role in the development of the first atomic bomb in the Soviet Union,greatly accelerating the process of atomic bomb development. However,without a sound organizational leadership system as the basic premise,a solid material economic foundation as a basic condition,abundant scientific research strength as a basic guarantee,a noble patriotism as a basic driving force,no matter how much nuclear intelligence will not help. It is the combined effect of the above factors that ultimately determined the successful development of the first atomic bomb of the Soviet Union.
