医学英语属于专门用途英语,其教学目的在于培养医学生医学专业领域学习、工作和国际学术交流的英语语言知识和技能。大量而复杂的医学词汇造成医学英语学习难度大,教学效果差。根据医学英语的特点及语义学理论对词汇教学的作用,本文探讨将语料库运用到医学英语词汇教学,有效地帮助学生轻松掌握医学英语词汇。

Medical English belongs to the scope of ESP, and is aimed to improve language knowledge and skills of medical students for learning, working and international communication in the fields of studies. However, vast and complicated medical vocabulary contributes greatly to the learning difficulties and poor teaching effect. This paper explores ways of teaching medical vocabulary using corpus based on the theory of semantics and characteristics of medical terms.
