人与人之间的语言交流起始于对彼此的称呼,如何称呼对方是语言交流的一个重要环节。英汉两种语言中有着不同的称呼用语,语言是文化的载体,称谓语的不同,是英汉两种文化不同的一种具体表现。现从文化角度对英汉称谓语进行分析,旨在分析其中的文化差异。

Language communication between people begins with the salutation terms to each other, and how to salute to each other is a significant part in language communication. There are different salutation terms in English and Chinese languages. Language is the carrier of culture. The difference of appellation is also a kind of concrete manifestation of English and Chinese cultural differences. This paper tries to analyze English and Chinese appellations from the perspective of culture so as to find out the culrural differences.
