QIAN Zhengxiu's Experience on Application of Paste Prescriptions to Treat Pediatric Suppurative Tonsillitis

钱正修,"陈氏儿科"传承人。钱老认为,儿童化脓性扁桃体炎反复发作,主要是在肺、脾、肾三脏亏虚,以肺为主的基础上,各种原因产生的内热积聚到一定程度,上攻咽喉,热毒郁结成脓,具有一定的周期性。其病理特点是在本虚的基础上兼有里热,临床以"肺肾两虚证"、"肺脾两虚证"多见。钱老运用膏方针对儿童禀赋不足、脏腑娇嫩、稚阳未充、稚阴未长等诸种薄弱环节,结合小儿不同的体质,综合既往病史及身体现状立方遣药,膏方口味较好,患儿容易接受。

QIAN Zhengxiu is an inherit of CHEN＇s pediatrics. Dr. QIAN regards that recurrent attacks of pediatric suppurative tonsillitis is due to deficiency of pediatric lung, spleen and kidney among which lung is the main factor. The various causes of internal heat would accumulate to some extent,with certain eyclicity for parts of pharynx and larynx attacked and purulence of heat toxin stasis. On the essential insufficiency with interior heat, there haven been two most common patterns of lung-kidney deficiency, lung-spleen deficiency. Dr. QIAN has applied paste prescriptions on all sorts of weakness aspects such as pediatric insufficiency, organs vulnerability, rudimentary of Yin and Yang. He also combined different constitutions to integrate into previous medical history and current prescription according to health conditions. And patients could accept the medicine easily for the favourable taste of paste prescriptions.
