In October 2018, the Shanghai Gold Exchange （SGE） saw transactions with a total value of 1,662.566 billion yuan, up 39.13% year-on-year. In October, gold was traded 5,206,864.46 kilograms in the SGE, up 41.3% year-on-year; the trading value of gold stood at 1,426.967 billion yuan, up 40.49% year-on-year; and its average daily turnover was 289,270.25 kilograms.
