With the acceleration of the higher education internationalization and the comprehensive development of ＂double first-class＂ in China, the quality of graduate education is regarded as an important foundation for the construction of first-class disciplines and first-class universities. Academic English ability is an important constraint factor for the comprehensive quality of postgraduate academics. It involves in many aspects of postgraduate education such as theoretical study, subject research, achievement publication and academic exchange. The academic English ability of graduate students of Chemical Engineering in Qinghai University needs to be comprehensively improved. The immersion English teaching of professional comics is an effective way to improve the academic English ability of chemical graduate students, because it can take into account the professional knowledge and academic English simultaneously.
