Maize/Vegetable Relay Intercropping Modes in Northern Shanxi: Efficiency Analysis

研究旨在分析晋北地区推广的3种"玉米/蔬菜"套作模式在市场行情因素影响下的种植效益,为当地农户套作模式选择提供理论基础。通过3年试验及市场行情跟踪,以产量和效益为依据,对3种套作模式所承担的市场风险做出总结。结果表明,"玉米/甘蓝"是试验中毛收益波动最大的模式,市场风险极大;"玉米/高菜"是毛收益最稳定的模式;在劳动力充足的前提下,"玉米/芸豆"是毛收益较高的模式。在实际生产中,农户可根据自身抵抗市场风险的能力及对市场行情的预判,选择适宜的套作模式进行种植,以达到增收的目标。

The study is to analyze three kinds of maize/vegetable relay intercropping modes that are promoted in northern Shanxi, and to provide guidance for local farmers to choose the suitable mode in production. The market risks of the 3 modes are summarized according to the yield and efficiency by three years＇ test and market tracking. The gross income of maize/Brassica oleracea shows the greatest volatility, so its market risk is great. The gross income of maize/Brassica juncea is most stable. On the premise of sufficient labor force, corn/ Phaseolus vulgaris is the mode with high gross income. In actual production, farmers can choose the appropriate relay intereropping mode to increase their income according to the ability to resist market risk and the prejudgment of market condition.
