Generic Technology Creation Based on C-K Design Theory

对于共性技术,以往文献都专注于共性技术开发成功之后的扩散和商业化研究,本文聚焦于共性技术的构建,在形式化设计理论的基础上,提出了存在域描述符(D)对于共性构建的重要性;借助C-K设计理论,从数学知识结构和技术知识结构(蒸汽机设计和MEMS设计)两个方面探析了共性构建;讨论了共性技术如何得到提升。研究为C-K设计理论带来了全新的视角,强调共性目标不是只归为一种(而是多个已知或部分未知)解决方案的存在域。共性构建能够处理技术——市场双重未知下的不确定性,隐含的经济管理推理为动态技术系统提供了新的见解。

The existed literature mostly focus on the dissemination and commercialization of generic technology, this paper studies the generic technology creation. The formal design theories provide powerful mechanism of the importance of descriptors of existence domain （D） for generic technology creation. Mathematical models and technology models （ steam engine and the MEMS technologies design） are used to illustrate generic technology creation based on C-K design theory. Finally, how to account higher generic is discussed. This paper brings a novel perspective for C-K design theory, highlighting that generic concept targets the creation of domains of existence that are not reduced to one solution but several of them can be known or partially unknown. Generic technology creation can deal with the technological and market uncertainty. The economic and managerial reasoning behind the genericity building provides insights on the dynamics of technology systems.
