Empirical Researches on Undergraduates' Political Socialization Based on the Theory of Social Mutual Construction——After Reading the Research on the Consequences of Political Socialization of Undergraduates

《大学生政治社会化的结果研究——以"社会互构论"为理论视角》是由社会科学文献出版社2013年出版的一本学术研究专著。本书共包含10章,均在社会互构论的指导下,以实证研究的方式,对当下大学生的政治社会化结果进行了讨论。理论与实证研究紧密结合,主要体现在以下两大方面:一是,在理论的指导下,各学科、领域的实证研究统一了概念,避免混淆;二是,在实证研究的推动下,社会互构论的一些重要概念实现了操作化,例如,互构、政治教育机构、多主体、政治知识、政治认同、政治价值观等。在此基础上,实证研究也证实了基于社会互构论的假设——互构,协变。例如,路径分析表明,政治教育机构与个体政治态度间既有直接联系,又有经过个体认知加工的中介联系;回归分析也表明,个体的认知特征与政治教育机构产生交互,对个体的政治态度等产生影响。综上,社会互构论为大学生政治社会化研究提供了解释,同时,实证研究也廓清了理论,回答了社会互构论所提出的问题。

The Research On the Consequences of Political Socialization of Undergraduates was published by social sciences academic press（ china） in 2013. Ten chapters could be found in that book,all of which were by means of empirical studies focusing on the results of youth political socialization,under the guidance of social mutual construction（ SMC） theory. The integration of theory and practice could be concluded as follows： first,based on SMC theory,empirical researches in different fields apply the one and same definition; second,due to the empirical studies,many important concepts of that model are clarified and put into practice,including ＂mutual constructing process＂and ＂political education agencies＂. Moreover,the empirical results show that the basic assumption of the SMC model is confirmed. For instance,path analyses show that one＇s political education background is directly related to one＇s attitudes towards politics and indirectly related to one＇s understanding. Moreover,multiple regression analyses show that the interaction between one＇s political understanding and one＇s political education affects youth political attitudes. SMC theory provides explanation for undergraduates＇ political socialization and meanwhile,empirical researches also answer the questions in the theory.
