State Detection Strategy of Partial Discharge in GIS

局部放电测量是GIS等高压电力设备绝缘检测的重要手段,在工程应用中发现了大量缺陷案例。文中调研分析了当前国内外局部放电检测技术发展和应用的现状,从放电过程、表观特征以及电磁干扰影响因素等角度阐述了GIS局部放电的检测和诊断的复杂性;在此基础上,深入分析了现有局放检测技术产品和相关标准的特点及其有效性;根据局部放电理论和实践研究的新进展,结合电力设备运维的技术经济性分析,针对电力设备出厂试验、耐压试验、投运后不同的运行阶段以及不同的运行可靠性需求,提出了延长单次局部放电检测时间以及采用移动式监测、在线监测和专家诊断型便携式检测相结合的差异化状态检测新策略。文中的研究成果有利于提升局部放电检测技术实施的有效性,提高电力设备的运行可靠性。

Partial discharge （PD） detection can help to discover many faults in high-voltage equipment, such as gas insulated switchgear （GIS）. In this paper, the current development and applications of PD detection technologies in the world are investigated, and the complexity of PD detection and diagnosis is illustrated from the perspectives of discharging process, apparent characteristics of PD phenomenon, and influences of electromagnetic interference. Then, the features and effectiveness of current PD detection instruments and relevant standards are analyzed in detail. Based on the latest progress in PD detection theory and applications, and considering technical economy analysis of PD detection, a new differentiated strategy of PD state detection is presented according to different reliability requirements for such as routine test, withstand voltage test, and service stages of HV equipment. This strategy includes prolonging the time of single PD detection, and combining removable short-term monitoring, on-line monitoring, and portable diagnostic detection of partial discharge. This new strategy may facilitate improvement of PD detection effectiveness and enhancement of GIS reliability.
