JIANG Kui, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, had a profound influence on later generations, not only because of his literary achievements, but also because of his personality spirit. He could remain romantic and free from ambition, and keep himself clean and elegant, with a certain degree of echo with the demeanour of Jin and song characters.
