摘要
基于 Halliday 和 Hasan 的词汇复现分类, 本文采用了实例分析和错误分析法对人教版高中英语课文中出现的词汇复现手段和学生作文中词汇复现的误用情况进行了分析, 认为词汇复现是英语写作中有效的语篇衔接手段之一, 有助于实现语篇的连贯, 提出了相关教学启示, 教师可以培养学生的词汇复现等衔接手段的意识、 介绍词汇复现的功能和鼓励学生使用词汇复现, 将语篇衔接手段应用到实际的写作中, 帮助学生写出语意连贯的篇章, 从而提高他们的英语写作能力.
Lexical reiteration is one of the important cohesive devices in English. Based on Halliday andHasan’ s classification of lexical reiteration, combined with the example analysis of lexical reiteration in thePEP English textbooks for high schools and error analysis of the misuse of lexical reiteration in students’compositions, this paper argues that lexical reiteration, contributing to textual coherence, is one of theeffective cohesive devices in English writing. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers should teach students toapply cohesive devicesin their English writing in terms of awareness, function and practice, because they canhelp students write coherent texts, thus improving their English writing ability.
