On Implementing Effective Class Management for English Teachers

课堂管理是教师为了完成教学任务,调控人际关系,和谐教学环境,引导学生学习的一系列教学行为方式。良好的课堂管理是教学活动顺利进行的先决条件,其对于教学的实施有着极其重要的地位。对于一名英语教师来说,如何把人文性、生活性贯穿在整个教学活动中,充分调动学生学习的主观能动性,使得学生有兴趣、有动力地参与到英语学习中来是一个需要深入探索的问题。对教师的自我教育、注重英语课堂管理的人文性及生活性以及课堂管理的多种模式是实施有效的课堂管理的重点。

Class management is a series of teaching modes for teachers to complete teaching tasks, regulate interpersonal relationships, harmonize teaching environment and guide students＇ learning. I find that good class management is a prerequisite for the smooth implementation of teaching activities, which plays an extremely key role in the teaching implementation. For an English teacher, it is a problem that needs a further study on how to integrate humanism and life in the whole teaching activities, fully stimulate students＇ subjective initiative to participate in English learning with great interest and motivation. This paper will focus on three aspects： teachers＇ self-education, the humanism and life of English class management, and the analysis of various models of class management, aiming at exploring effective class management models.
