薛蕙诗文集有多种刻(抄)本传世,其中李宗枢刻《薛西原集》二卷是编年诗选本,《游嵩集》是乔宇、薛蕙游嵩倡和诗合集,王廷刻《西原先生遗书》收薛蕙晚年与朋友往还讲学之书。《薛考功集》十卷本,有刻本、抄本、四库本等,为一版本系统。《薛吏部诗》残卷,为稀见本,其中不少诗作不见于他本。薛邦瑞刻《西原全集》,以十卷本为底本,汇集多本,在明代诸本中最为晚出。厘清薛蕙诗文集的版本流变,是整理、校注《西原全集》的基础。

There are many versions of Xue Huishi＇s collection circulating in the world. Among them, the two volumes of Xue Xi Yuan Ji is a selected edition of chronicle poetry, printed by I.i Zongshu. You Song di is a collection of poems by Qiao Yu and Xue Hui when they visited Mount Song. The letter of Mr. Xi Yuan, printed by Wang Ting, contains Xue＇s letters to his friends in his later years. There are engraved copies, copy books, four library books and other versions in Xue Kao Gong Ji, ten systematic volumes. The book Xue Li Bu Poetry is incomplete and rarely seen. Many of its poems are not seen in other editions. The Complete Works of Xiyuan, printed by Xue Bangrui and based on ten volumes, has a variety of editions. It is the latest publication among many editions in the Ming dynasty. It is the basis for collating and proofreading to sort out the evolution in the version of Xue Huishi＇s anthology.
