溜索作为一种原始的渡河工具,在特定时期和特定地区,一定程度缓解了当地群众出行难问题。但由于存在着较大安全隐患,运输效率较低,随着经济社会发展,已经越来越难以适应当地人民群众生产生活的需要。为彻底改善溜索地区出行条件,交通运输部出台了一系列扶贫工程规划,包括西部七省"溜索改桥"项目的实施。通过对项目执行情况、交通影响情况、经济社会影响的跟踪与评估,阐述了项目实施的重要影响,并提出了项目后续工作的重要建议。
