摘要
为了对高动态范围弹载红外图像进行有效地压缩,本文设计了一种基于H.264标准的红外图像压缩系统。该系统采用FPGA+DM368的硬件架构形式,通过对16位红外图像数据进行拆分,利用DM368内嵌的视频协处理硬核完成对图像数据的压缩。最后,对路口红外成像数据进行测试,试验结果表明该系统具有高压缩率、低失真度等特点,系统工作稳定可靠。
To compress high-dynamic-range missile-borne infrared images, we designed an infrared image compression system based on the H.264 standard. This system adopts the hardware architecture of FPGA+DM368 and uses the video-processing hardcore embedded in the DM368 to compress images by splitting the 16 bit infrared image data. Test results from infrared images of intersection show that this system is stable, reliable, and has a high compression ratio and low distortion.
