金秀瑶族博物馆藏坳瑶木雕面具释析

摘要 金秀瑶族博物馆所藏坳瑶木雕面具含人物、动物形象若干,这些形象造型严谨,施色沉稳,大多数可辨识其身份。坳瑶木雕面具从艺术作品的角度来看,有着形神兼备、质朴天然的审美追求。另外,面具作为一种娱神载体,亦具有特定的宗教属性。坳瑶木雕面具的神祇构成反映了坳瑶的多神崇拜,这是不同地域、不同民族文化碰撞与交流的结果。 The Aoyao wooden-carving masks in Jinxiu Yao Museum contain a number of characters and animal figures. These images are rigorous in shape, dignified in color, and most of them are identifiable. From the per-speetive of artistic works, the wooden-carving masks have an aesthetic pursuit of form and spirit, plainness and naturalness. In addition, as a kind of entertainment carrier, they also have specific religious attributes. The composition of the wooden-carving masks reflects the multi-god worship of the Aoyao. This is the result of collision and exchange between different regions and different ethnic cultures.
