在Franckeit矿物中发现了一种新型硫化物(Zn0.5 Mn0.25 Fe0.25) S,用电子衍射、微区分析和高分辨结构像,证明它是一种ZnS型结构的多型体,其堆积序列为……AB AB AB AB CA……,其成分由X光能谱测定为:34.9±0.1％Zn,15.5±0.1％Fe,14.8±0.1％Mn,34.7±0.1％S。

The structure and composition of a crystal of(Zn0.5 Mn0.25 Fe0.25)S, found in a sample of the mineral Francket,have been determined by electron microscopy and nncroanalysis.It is a polytype of the form ABABABABCA……with the composition of 31.9±0.1%Zn,15.5±0.1%Fe,14.8±0.1%Mn,34.7±0.1%S(weight percent) determined by X-ray spectroscopy.
