The Conservatives of the Republic of China endeavored to criticize activists＇ abandonment of traditional culture, and strived to maintain the subjectivity and rationality of traditional culture, which indicates that the Conservatives of the Republic of China protected the traditional culture not out of their instincts of old fashioned complex but from the objective requirements of keeping the uniqueness of the Chinese nation. The fundamental reason, if seen on a profound level, is that they opposed westernized opinions which abandoned traditional culture and dissevered tradition though rich in illuminative modernity, while supported modernized opinions rich in aesthetic modernity which inherited traditional culture and maintained the tradition.
