Interview with Professor Wang——Chief Editor of The History of Reading in China

2017年底,北京大学王余光教授主编的十卷本《中国阅读通史》由安徽教育出版社正式推出。该书是我国阅读史研究领域的第一部通史著作,构建了中国阅读史研究的基本理论框架,梳理了自先秦至民国时期中国阅读史的发展阶段及每个阶段的主要特征,总结了各个时期阅读的精神和传统。本书的编纂历时13年之久,在此过程中,受到了许多关心阅读史研究的朋友的关注。值本书正式出版之际,本书主编王余光先生接受专访,就《中国阅读通史》的体例、基本内容、编纂过程、中国阅读史研究的理论体系、中国古代阅读传统及其现代价值等问题进行了阐释,借以答谢各界朋友多年来的关心帮助。

The ten volumes The History of Reading in China edited by Professor Wang Yuguang from Beijing University was published by Anhui Education Press in 2017. This is the first general history about reading history constructing the fundamental theoretical frame- work, combing the development stages of reading history from Qin to the Republic of China and summarizing the reading spirit and tra- dition of different periods. The compilation time of this book was 13 years and has been concerned by related researchers. At the time of publication, the chief editor Professor Wang received our interview to interpret about the content and the compilation process, the theoretical system of research in The History of Reading in China and the value of ancient reading tradition in modern society.
