推动人类社会发展及社会形态转变的根本动力是社会基本矛盾运动。构成社会基本矛盾的生产力与生产关系、经济基础与上层建筑两对矛盾之间并不仅仅是对立的,而且是内在统一的整体。社会基本矛盾的转换不仅取决于生产力自身的发展,而且取决于社会基本矛盾各个因素之间的相互关系和力量的对比。新时代中国特色社会主义基本矛盾的转换,正是由于社会基本矛盾的各个因素之间发展不平衡造成的。随着人民对美好生活的向往与不平衡不充分发展之间的矛盾转为新时代中国社会的主要矛盾,实现了中国社会发展的中心的一个根本转换,即从以物为中心的发展转向以人为中心的发展,人成为社会发展的根本目的。这意味着一种新的社会形态建构的开启。

The transformation of the basic contradictions of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is precisely due to the unbalanced development among the various factors of the basic contradictions of society. With the contradiction between people＇s yearning for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development turning into the main contradiction of Chinese society in the new era, a fundamental transformation of the center of Chinese social development has been realized, that is, from the material-cored development to people-first progress, and peo- ple have become the fundamental purpose of social development. This ushers the opening of a new social formation.
