This paper introduced the research progress of infrared thermal imaging in monitoring of flap blood flow after free skin flap transplantation. It briefly discussed the application status of infrared thermal imaging technology, advantages and disadvantages between infrared thermal imaging and other monitoring methods, relationships between monitoring results and vascular crisis, influence factors of monitoring results and so on.
