乒乓球步法教学是乒乓球教学的重要环节。步法教学应以单一步法练习为基础,以复式步法练习为重点,并处理好步法与其相关的关系,把步法与手法有机结合,遵循由易到难,由简到繁,循序渐进的原则,从而提高乒乓球教学质量。

The teaching of step-techniques is a key point in the teaching program of ping-pang-ball playing.Step -techniques teaching shall base on step training and focus on dual-steps training with good consideration to other re- lated skills.The flexible combination of step and hand techniques training will be much helpful to the improvement of the teaching of ping-pang-ball playing following the principle of going from the simple to the complicated.
