新高职学院如何在夹缝中生存,惟有转变传统的办学观念和固有的思维模式。本文从研究直译与意译两种风格迥异的翻译方法入手,陈述了直译与意译的新概念,论证了直译与意译各自的优势和劣势,阐明了直译与意译的前提和条件,区分了直译与死译、硬译的不同,指出了意译与乱译的实质性差异。文章最后归纳和总结了直译与意译的辨证关系,提出了直译与意译兼用的新方法。

Literal translation and free translation are two kinds of translation styles.They are entirely different.This article involves the history and development of these methods in China.It illustrates new concepts of literal translation and free translation.It rogues the advantages and disadvantages of each method.It clarifies the premise and situation of these two methods.It distinguishes the free translation with mechanical translation and dead translation.It also points out the materiality difference between free translation and confusion translation.Finally,this article tallies up the dialectical relation between literal translation and free translation and puts forward a new method,using these two translation methods concurrently.
