高校英语词汇教学与习得中的主要问题及对策研究

The Main Problems and Solutions in Vocabulary Teaching and Acquisition in Universities and Colleges

词汇量不足成为制约学生英语水平提高的瓶颈,通过对大学生英语词汇教学与习得的现状所做的调查研究,发现主要存在两个主要问题：一是教师缺乏有效的词汇教学方法,不能有效地结合构词法知识、词语文化内涵、语境、上下义关系、同义词和一词多义等知识进行词汇教学；二是学生词汇记忆方法陈旧,以死记硬背为主。据此,依照利奇的词汇的七种意义理论和认知语言学相关理论,提出了解决这一问题的对策。

The lack of vocabulary is a“bottle-neck”which prevents students from raising their English level.After investigating the situation of university students' vocabulary learning and acquisition,we find that two main problems exist in their English learning process.One is that English teachers lack efficient vocabulary teaching method,they can not teach English words in accordance with word formation knowledge,cultural connotation,context,hyponymy, collocation and synonymy.The other is that the students' word-memorizing method,mainly learning by rote,is out of fashion.On the basis of these,we put forward some solutions to these problems.
