论英语教学中的新型师生关系

On the New Teacher-Student Relationship in English Teaching

新传统的英语教学师生交往模式已经严重阻碍了新型人才的培养。英语教学中,"重知轻情"(重视知识教学忽略情感教学)情况非常严重,师生之间缺乏必要的沟通和了解,对英语教学效果产生消极影响。因此,英语教学要取得成功必须建立和谐的民主平等合作的师生关系。从新型师生关系着手,提出传统师生关系在英语教学中的弊端,阐述了英语教学中建构新型师生关系的重要性并提出如何建构新型师生关系。

The traditional mode of teacher-student communication in English teaching has already seriously hindered the cultivation of new-type talents. In English teaching,the problem that teachers lay stress on knowledge instead of the emotional contacts is extremely serious. Lack of the essential communication and understanding be-tween teachers and students produces negative effects on English teaching. Therefore,to make English teaching successful,it is essential to establish a harmonious,democratic,equal and cooperative relationship between teach-ers and students. Focusing on the new relationship between teachers and students,this article reveals the drawbacks of traditional teacher-student relationship in English teaching,explains the importance of establishing a new relati-onship between teachers and students,and proposes the means to establish a new teacher-student relationship.
