Based on the arctan phase discriminator algorithm, the calculation method of the digital COSTAS loop parameters is given. The arctan phase discriminator algorithm uses look-up table to reduce the loop calculated bandwidth. The calculation value of loop controller parameters directly influence the performance of the loop.The calculation of loop parameters depend on the fix frequent and the gain of the loop. The calculated method of the loop gain and the simulation result are given. The simulation result show the correctness of this method.
