Ethnic classics refer to tangible or intangible materials that can record, inherit, research, or reproduce the traditional culture of the ethnic minorities except the Han. Incorporating ethnic classics into the ethics education for students in regional ethnic universities is beneficial for several aspects such as cultivating the builders of a harmonious ethnic minority area, building the humanities to strengthen solidarity among ethnic groups, and constructing the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics. There are several approaches to achieve this goal, such as building special collections of ethnic classics, strengthening the guidance in reading ethnics classics, providing students with the ethnic-classics-related practical training, and integrating ethnic minority classics in multi-cultural reading.
