Keng坑 , referring to stream literally, is widely distributed in dialects in southeastern China and especially frequently found in the village names. From the etymological perspective, Keng 坑 is closely related to the topographic feature of the southeastern China and thus regarded as a feature word of the southeastern dialects of China.
