The article first briefly expounds the characteristics of subgrade construction in bridge engineering, analyzes the causes that lead to subgrade sinking in bridge construction, and discusses the effective countermeasures to deal with subgrade sinking in order to ensure the quality of bridges and make positive contributions to social and economic development.
