With the development of Internet, libraries also need to improve the service effect. The library of higher vocational colleges mainly serves teachers and students, and different groups have different demands for library resources, so it is a trend to provide personalized service to readers. This article mainly discusses the establishment of individualized reader service mode in higher vocational college library. The article first analyzes the basis of personalized reader service provided by higher vocational colleges, and then analyzes the existing problems and finally discuss the countermeasures.
