咸阳作为众多封建王朝的都城或京畿地,在唐代诗人的诗歌中,经常被提及,通过分析发现:唐代诗人在书写"咸阳"时表达了不同的思想感情:表达壮志难酬的感慨,表达思念之情,表达对统治阶级的控诉和对国家安危的忧虑。研究唐诗中"咸阳"地理意象的内涵,为研究唐诗提供了一个新的视角。
