英语文化类课程的模块化教学探讨

摘要 近年来,模块化教学被大量运用于高校课堂教学中并取得了一些成果。本文介绍了模块化教学的概念,研究现状和课堂实施情况,同时介绍了英语文化类课程目前的教学问题。结合以上两方面,本文提出将模块化教学的思想运用于英语文化类课程中,可弥补该类课程传统教学的一些不足,从而提高教学效率和教学质量。最后本文提出了将模块化教学运用到英语文化类课程的三类可行性策略,即从教材编写,教学方法和教学结合三方面注重模块化思维的渗透,形成一体化的模块化教学体系,提升教学质量。 In recent years, modular teaching has been widely applied to college teaching , and some results have been achieved. This pa-per introduces the concept of modular teaching, the research status-quo and practical class practice, and raises the problems in currentEnglish culture courses. Next, this study puts forward the idea of applying modular teaching to English culture courses, which can makeup for the deficiencies of traditional teaching modes and therefore improve the teaching efficiency and quality. At last, three feasiblestrategies of applying modular teaching to English culture courses are advised. These three strategies are textbook compilation, teachingmethod and the combination of teaching and learning. The effective combination of the three strategies can form an integrated modularteaching system and promote the teaching quality.
