Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Desensitization apparatus Combined with Intense pulsed light in the treatment of facial glucocorticosteroid-dependent dermatitis. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with facial glucocorticosteroid-dependent dermatitis were randomly divided into three groups. Treatment group (40 cases) treated with Desensitization apparatus combined with Intense pulsed light, the control group one (40 cases) treated only with Desensitization apparatus and the control group two (40 cases) treated only with Intense pulsed light. The clinical effcacy and safety were assessed 3 months after treatment. Meanwhile, recurrences were assessed one month later. Results The effective rate of treatment group was 87.20%, which was higher than those in the control group one and the control group two(60.00% and 66.70%). The recurrence rate in the treatment group, the control group one and the control group two was respectively 3.33%, 6.67% and 13.33%. No serious adverse reactions were found in the three groups. Conclusion The desensitization apparatus combined with Intense pulsed light is effective and less recurrence in the treatment of facial glucocorticosteroid-dependent dermatitis. Moreover,it is worthy of wide application in clinical.
