张仁青是台湾著名骈文学家,毕生致力于骈文研究,成就卓著,享誉海内外。其骈文学思想内涵丰富,意蕴深邃,涉及到骈文创作与批评的诸多问题,主要包括深入探讨骈文起源与流变、详细分析骈文构成要素、阐发骈文理论、准确评价历代作家作品、长于以图表方式诠释与骈文有关的问题、枚举历代骈文书目等,在骈文研究方面贡献颇多。

As a famous parallel prose scholar in Taiwan,Zhang Renqing has devoted his life to the study of parallel prose and made great achievements, so he was well-known both at home and abroad. His thought of parallel prose has rich connotation and profound implication which involve many problems related to the creation and criticism of parallel prose. Specifically,it mainly included a thorough discussion of the origin and development of parallel prose,a concrete analysis of its components,a good illustration of the parallel prose theory,an accurate evaluatation of the writers and articles in previous dynasties. He was good at elucidating the problems related to the parallel prose with the aid of chart,enumerating the parallel prose bibliography in previous dynasties,etc. Zhang Renqing made a lot of contribution to the parallel prose research.
