中美性骚扰议题新闻呈现的比较研究

News Representation of Sexual Harassment in US and China:A Comparative Analysis

本文使用噤声群体理论与框架分析,考察MeToo运动发源和兴起以来半年时间内美国主流媒体与中国主流媒体的80篇关于性骚扰议题的新闻报道。通过内容分析方法,本文对中美媒体报道性骚扰议题所采用的新闻框架进行界定、归纳和分析,比较和探讨其成因及影响。研究发现,中美两国对性骚扰的新闻呈现策略存在显著的差异,中美两国对发生在国外的性骚扰新闻事件的报道均有一定程度的意识形态色彩,而美国的这一倾向尤其明显。

Based on the muted group theory and frame analysis theory,this study examines the U. S. mainstream media and Chinese mainstream media＇s texts reporting sexual harassment after the rise of # MeToo movement on international Internet within half a year. Combining quantitative and qualitative research methods together,this study takes 80 articles as samples, then gives definitions, inductions and analyses of the different news frames used by different media, as well as discusses the roots and consequences of such difference.
